Job description
  • Newington office, Monday – Friday with Hybrid working
  • Defence asset upgrade projects across the East Coast
  • ASX listed National contractor
  • THE ROLE

    You will be an integral part of our east coast operations and duties will include;

    • Prepare accurate tendering / project programs and project reports that expedite the successful delivery of each project
    • Evaluate impact of change on planned work, including critical path analysis and extension of time entitlements
    • Brief and update the project teams and management on planning issues including critical program issues and risk
    • Assess delivery methodology and sequencing to identify and provide improvements
    • Query construction proposals to maximise efficiencies
    • Collaborate with Estimators, Bid Coordinators, Bid Writers and Project Managers
    • Projects include a variety of complex new construction, civil infrastructure and remediation projects.

      ABOUT YOU

    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Experience in tender preparation, project planning, schedule development and progress reporting for construction, civil infrastructure and / or remediation projects
    • Able to extract detailed information from construction drawings and SOW and construct detailed programs
    • Ability to identify level of resources required, and derive and build EOT claims
    • Open communication style and ability to revise, forecast and estimate project activities through effective liaison with project teams
    • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
