About the Role :

Sure People Solutions is recruiting5 xDrill Fitters / Mechanical Fitters on behalf of its client, a global leader in mining and infrastructure equipment and technologies. These positions are for their Welshpool-based workshop. These roles focus on new rig builds, not FIFO, and offer long-term opportunities for the right fitters.

Mandatory Requirements :

Working at Heights Certification

Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Mechanical or Fitting)

What’s on Offer :

• Opportunity for a permanent position.
• Working on Schramm exploration equipment - rebuilds
• Join a team of highly trained professionals & supportive team.
• Minimum 8-hour days Monday to Friday
• Standard is 12-hour days Monday – Friday
• Option for Saturday work
• Consistent local work—No FIFO

Who We’re Looking For :

We want qualified Mechanical Fitters who prefer staying local and are open to a long-term role in a fast-paced workshop, looking to join a brilliant team of trades professionals, via a top-tier employer. Ideal candidates will have prior experience with drill rigs, not just general plant maintenance.
