Iron Mine Contracting (IMC) was formed to provide Civil, Mining, Crushing and Screening and Indigenous partnering opportunities to the West Australian market.

IMC was recently awarded full open pit mining services for an emerging Tier 1 Battery Minerals producer for a deposit, being one of the world's largest and highest-grade hard rock lithium. This has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced

Position responsibilities include, but not limited to

Manage a team of Mining crew employees ensuring production targets and priorities are safely met by the team.

Coach and support the team to ensure operational objectives met.

Actively participate in collaborative meetings including pre-start, toolbox feedback and group safety involvement

Encourage work crews to adhere to OHS principles on a daily basis

Understand and improve targets and plans in support of the operations team

Ensure the continual review of the weekly operations plan, cascading its goals to daily performance targets.

Essential Criteria

Over 3 years Production Mining operating experience with min 1 years direct experience / step-up experience in frontline leadership of larger operational crews

Developed communication skills with the proven ability to build strong interpersonal relationships

Sound knowledge of OH&S regulations, procedures and policies;

Demonstrated leadership skill, to empower the operational crews towards the objectives set.
