About the RoleThis position plays a vital role in processing E-Waste, electrical items, solar panels, batteries and mattresses. It involves handling materials, operating tools, maintaining a clean workspace and ensuring compliance with safety standards. It is key to meeting production targets and supporting recycling and waste management operations.
Other key responsibilities include :
Process and sort E-Waste, electrical items, solar panels, batteries and mattresses for recyclingLoad and unload containers with materials efficientlyOperate and maintain hand and power tools for dismantling and processing materialsMaintain a clean and organised work environment, following waste management guidelinesFollow NDIS Practice Standards, the NDIS Code of Conduct, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding FrameworkAbout YouYou will be someone who enjoys hands-on, physical work, takes pride in efficiency and is committed to safety and quality. You will be reliable, proactive and eager to learn new skills, and also pass those skills on and support our people with disability working alongside you.
