Salary Package : $150k Super

Role Highlights : A well-established national logistics business is expanding rapidly and looking for a skilled Finance Business Partner to support the CFO and national operations. With a national footprint across multiple sites the company supports key players in essential industries and has experienced significant growth over the past five years. This business operates in a high-volume projects-based environment and is currently undergoing operational transformation and expansion making this an exciting time to join and help shape the future. As such some travel to their sites is expected.

Role Overview

Reporting to a highly experienced CFO this role acts as the conduit between Finance operations and senior leadership through business partnering and relationship management activities. The Finance Business Partner

leverages their knowledge commercial experience and insights to support the business with its operational and strategic business decision making and drive better business performance and revenue outcomes. Some interstate travel will be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Partner with branch managers and operations to drive cost savings profit growth and process improvement.
• Act as a key finance business partner with operations incl. Labor costing and project cost reporting review and optimization.
• Identify problem areas in operations and provide recommendations for improvements
• Develop and review business cases for BAU and growth projects
• Assist CFO on ad hoc projects.
• Review operational KPIs and influence branch and operational team to meet deliverable requirements
• Ensuring the business processes and internal controls are developed documented and adhered to
• Monthly P&L and balance sheet review and analysis
• Management of commercial contracts with residential and commercial properties
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting
• Any other requirements and requests from time to time

Candidate Profile

Youre a confident and engaging finance professional with 5-7 years experience in operational business partnering. You have come from medium to large complex environments within manufacturing supply chain and logistics with a strong understanding of commercial drivers that lead to profitable outcomes. With a steady grounding in accounting you understand and can interpret a P&L as well as be able to confidently manage budgets and forecasts. You have an inquisitive mind and enjoy problem solving love operational process improvement and seek out quality relationships and connections with your team and stakeholders.
