• About the Role

As a trusted Advisor and Subject Matter Expert, you will have the opportunity to drive the following activities :

• Thought leadership internally and externally to BHP in future-facing commodities linked to global earth and mineral systems, including maintenance of a pan-commodity research roadmap and input and direction to external research collaborators and industry fora.
• Specifically build nexus and exploit synergies between geoscience, resource engineering, and strategy teams to inform mineral commodity strategy and create competitive advantage in accessing future facing commodities
• About You

In addition, to be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following :

• Postgraduate degree qualification in a geoscience related field
• Demonstrated high level of understanding of fundamental geoscience
• A passion for mentoring and coaching geoscientists.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts.
