As a Fire Pump Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and testing fire pumps, controllers, and related equipment and will involve :

Conducting routine inspections and testing of fire pumps, controllers, and related equipmentDiagnosing and troubleshooting problems with fire pumps and related equipmentPerforming repairs and maintenanceKeeping accurate records of all work performedCommunicating effectively with customers, management, and other team membersEnsuring that all work is performed in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standardsAbout you :

Relevant trade qualification (ie Mechanical or Electrical Fitter, Electrician or Plumbing)Minimum of 3 years of experience working with fire pumps and related equipmentKnowledge of industry standards and applicable codes and regulations – particularly the AS1851 & AS2941 seriesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's licenseWhy 2020 Fire Protection
