It is also supported by various depots around WA and nationwide, with fleet coordinators and mechanics servicing those depots.The BenefitsLong term, job security (Permanent, Full-time)Starting rates from $55 per hourMonday-FridayFantastic opportunity to join a growing ASX listed CompanyAccess to our Employee Assistance Program for you and your familyThe RoleAs a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will be working within our busy workshop at our Kenwick site reporting directly to the Workshop & Fleet Manager.

Duties include but are not limited to : Provide general servicing and maintenance for various light, medium and heavy road transport, EWP trucks, crane / borers for power line construction, underground horizontal boring, earthmoving equipment and plant.Integrate new technology to existing structures of all plant and machinery, including component refurbishing.Conduct performance testing on fleet vehicles and reduce equipment downtime with innovative problem solving.Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults.Essential Skills / Qualifications & ExperienceRelevant Australian recognised Trade Certificate3+ years heavy duty diesel fitter / mechanic experience essentialPrevious experience in conducting breakdowns / fault findingStrong ability to adapt to different environments and workloadsDemonstrates a high level of safety and work ethicEfficient time managementHave sufficient and appropriate tools to perform the roleDesirable SkillsHydraulics experience highly desirableExperience with directional drilling and excavating equipment highly desirableElevated Work Platform, Working at Heights and Crane Tickets highly desirableValid Australian Drivers License - "HR" ClassIf you feel you meet the selection criteria, and would be a good fit for the role, please click APPLY NOW GenusPlus Group values diversity and inclusion and we strongly encourage females and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply Where large numbers of applications are received, only those shortlisted shall be contacted
