Job description

TMR is currently considering the implementation of a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy whereby it would be a condition of employment for TMR employees to be and remain fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination status may be required as part of the interview process and / or prior to employment. Accountabilities include

  • Managing the strengthened focus on assurance and performance operations, functions and delivery outcomes in line with required outcomes, including implementation of recommendations to enhance the performance of project delivery.
  • Assist the unit to be the central co-ordination point for assurance and compliance with the Queensland Procurement Policy, the Charter for Local Content, Best Practice Principles and Key Result Areas including implementing and maintaining the systems and processes for the building of capacity and capability, including
  • Collaboration and sharing with other Government agencies who have responsibilities in these areas
  • Holding regular interactions with key TMR project groups to clarify key government policy requirements, provide advice and share learnings
  • Holding regular interactions with key contractors and contract administrators on TMR reporting requirements, clarify key government policy requirements, provide advice and share learnings
  • Managing and maintaining key information such as website pages and updates
  • Coordinating training delivery to build capacity and capability of TMR, contractors and contractor administrators, including : Overview of the development, review and update of training packages relating to the implementation of KRAs
  • Monitoring the development, leading and updating training packages
  • Be responsible for the KRAs and KRA measures including capturing the benefits throughout implementation, including : Oversight of the maintenance of publications and documentation related to KRAs and KRA measures
  • Identifying potential improvements to TMR processes, government policy implementation and training packages
  • Coordinating the engagement and management of Independent Firms (planned and unplanned) for projects to ensure contractor compliance with their contractual obligations relating to KRAs delivery, including compliance with relevant government policy and targets
  • Develop activities to encourage trade union and industry understanding of the PAT functions, regulatory framework and obligations
  • Co-ordinate project and program reports on the outcomes of the KRAs, KRA measures and other activities for the Director for reporting to senior management
  • Support the Director in representing TMR as part of the relevant governance committees and processes and any interagency / regulator protocol which better enables procurement and supplier compliance information sharing to improve the implementation of government policy
