The Position :
Plan supervise and monitor the food production and menubased catering in this premium airline lounge located at Melbourne AirportResponsible for stock control budgets rostering & staff managementMaintain high standards of food hygiene safety infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standardsDeliver to our client and customers high expectations of a premium experienceEstablish strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure best price and quality of produceMonitor stock and minimize food wastageLead train and mentor team membersThe Person :
Minimum Cert. III Commercial CookerySolid leadership experience in a Head Chef role or similarStrong understanding of allergen management and food safetyPassionate about healthy and nutritious food finesse in plating knowing that presentation mattersHave a genuine passion for using sustainable practices and local produceStrong financial acumen relevant to labour and cost controlA highly structured and organised approach managing multiple tasks simultaneouslyThe Benefits
