The Opportunity_

We have an enticing

Pit Technician

position awaiting you at the world class Thunderbox and Bronzewing Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed Geotech team on the convenience of an 15 / 13 roster with 12HR Days & Nights.

Duties include but not limited to,_

Assisting with grade control drilling activities.

Assisting geologists and surveyors in completing ore mark ups.

Monitoring of ore mining to minimise ore loss and dilution.

Monitoring of open pit activities, dozing, grading, and dewatering.

Assisting with Blast movement tracking activities in the pit.

To thrive in this role, you'll need

6 - 12 months relevant experience in mining and / or exploration.

Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.

Current approved and recognised forklift ticket.

Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft office products.

Excellent numeracy skills.

Good communication skills, written and verbal.

Strong attention to detail, ability to plan daily activities and meet deadlines.

Ability to work unsupervised as required.

Able to work as part of a team.

Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.

St Johns Senior First Aid certificate (desirable).

Mechanical knowledge and skills (desirable).

4WD operation and recovery skills (desirable).
