Delivery Driver / Storeperson - Tyre Wholesale

Job descriptionThe Job Accurately prepare and pick orders, including stacking, wrapping, labelling, and quality checking tyre orders against prepared documentation. Assist with order dispatch including loading of company delivery trucks and other customer vehicles. Arrange and secure cargo for safe and effective transport in company vehicles. Carry out tyre deliveries to Sydney Metro and surrounding areas. Collect COD payments and appropriate cash handling, as required. Work with the Warehouse Team Leader, to ensure a smooth daily workflow, efficient delivery scheduling and warehouse operations. Hand and machine unloading of incoming stock from delivery vehicles and shipping containers. Receipt and check incoming stock (check, sort and put away) including warehouse preparation prior to stock arrival and arranging tyre stillages via forklift, as required. Follow quality processes and comply with procedures and safety regulations. The Person A proficient operator of vehicles and warehouse machinery. A sound knowledge of Sydney metropolitan and country areas. Experience in warehouse operations and logistics. A strong eye for detail, good organisational skills, and an ability to work to a schedule and meet deadlines. A high level of integrity, loyalty, and ability to work autonomously. A strong focus on customer service and teamwork. The Requirements Hold a current C class drivers' license - essential. Hold a current forklift license - essential. Previous warehouse experience - highly desirable. Knowledge of tyres and the tyre industry - desirable but not essential.
