Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) to join our team in Tamworth, NSW . If you're a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

Your role

In this role, your key responsibilities will include :

Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems; Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment; Maintaining thorough records of actions taken; Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment; Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment. The essential requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements :

2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft); Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical), (Structures) or (Avionics); Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components; Strong team player; Ability to follow supervisory direction; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Consistent positive and proactive attitude; Passion for safe work practices; Valid work visa; Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); Current Australian Driver's licence. Shifts will be primarily Monday to Friday day shifts, with some possible early / late & night shifts.

We are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Tamworth before applying.
