SCT Logistics is looking for 2 Casual Mainline Locomotive Drivers, located at any of our depots in NSW (Sydney, Wagga Wagga or Taree).

Job Description Reporting to the Depot Manager, the position includes the following responsibilities :

Ensuring safe & efficient shunting activitiesPerform assigned duties in accordance with SCT Rail's policies and work instructions.Commitment to safety in the workplaceEnsure compliance with all of SCT's OHS policies, procedures and applicable state and federal legislationA strong customer focus orientationBe able to work in a team environment and in some cases unsupervisedCompany Description Rail to road, dry freight, refrigerated or bulk, SCT Logistics provides Australia's most efficient and independent freight services. Established in 1974 by Peter Smith, SCT is now a national, multi-modal transport and logistics company. In June 1995 SCT Logistics became the first private rail operator to commence services on the interstate rail network which coincided with the completion of the standardisation of the rail gauge track between the states in Australia.

Desired Skills And Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate : Shunting & Train Driving Qualifications.Good interpersonal and communication skillsValid C Class Driver's LicenseA strong commitment to safety.Be reasonably fit and agile to meet the demands of the job.All applicants please note : The successful candidate will be required to complete a full Pre-Employment CAT1 medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and an Australian Federal Police check prior to commencement.
