This Company is looking for an Event Manager to join their Australian Events Team on a 3-Month Contract basis.
The RoleThe Event Manager role will focus on the delivery of quality planning and delivery services for a variety of clients as part of an end-to-end management solution. Whilst the role primarily focuses on the logistic management, there will also be an aspect of creative support for some clients.
Key Responsibilities include;End to end Event Management of multiple client's events, from 10 to 500 pax including all aspects of delegate managementOngoing key operational client contact - act as the key client contact for programs; including proposal creation and presentation, contracting, regular WIP reviews, ongoing engagement and escalation as neededSource, Negotiate, Contract and Manage all vendors / suppliers for the meeting on clients behalf and ensuring quality services at efficient ratesCreate and Manage critical path for event(s) including key dates internally and externallyCreate, design and manage all aspects of the program (food and beverage, activities, transport, theming etc)Attendee Management and associated aspects (initiations, itineraries, rooming lists, special needs, dietary requirements, attendee communications etc)Create and Manage the initial, negotiated, working and final budgets throughout the program in an accurate and timely mannerFull financial reconciliation post event within defined parametersManage and oversee the data integrity of all events in Cvent ensure information is correct through the cycle of your eventConducting domestic and international site searches, sourcing properties / venues adhering to client budgets and parametersDemonstrated experience with delegate management and registrationKnowledge of domestic hotels and destinations required, international knowledge is a plusKnowledge of travel supplier operations, overall capabilities / range of servicesProgram management system experience preferred, especially with an online sourcing tool.
