About the opportunity : We're currently seeking a dedicated Senior Technical Services Officer to join our small dynamic and professional team within the Faculty of Health.
In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for :
Ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of dedicated laboratories, upholding all operational and safety standards Working with a small team to deliver high-quality technical support across allied health disciplines including Optometry, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, and Sport and Exercise Science. Supervising laboratory safety, including maintenance and calibration of specialised equipment, management of standard operating procedures, risk management, and health and safety protocols What You'll Bring To be considered for this role, you will have : A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Science, Medical Science, Exercise Science, Optometry, Nutrition Occupational Therapy) or significant equivalent industry experience Experience in providing technical support for allied health disciplines within academic or research settings A proven track record in managing laboratory operations efficiently and safely and high-level organisational skills The University offers excellent conditions and benefits such as :
