An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Reporter to work across all News and Current Affairs for Nine News Queensland.
Reporting into the Director of News at Nine you will work closely with the Editorial team / QTQ Newsroom teams and have key relationships with the Today Show / 4BC Radio.
The successful applicant for this position must be an experienced senior reporter with a track record of more than four years experience. You must be a team player able to work in a collaborative environment and work within strict deadlines and also demonstrate that they have a solid background in live broadcast.
The role works on a five day roster with weekend work. It is based in Brisbane with travel, at times, across Queensland for major breaking stories. The successful applicant should have a background in State political issues / crime / consumer / social and environmental stories / weather / and quirky color stories.
