About the Role

As Senior Coordinator, Graduate Research Examinations you will lead a team that delivers end-to-end management of graduate research examinations across the University. You will :

  • Manage the examination process, including coordination of Joint PhD examinations with international partners
  • Lead continuous process and policy improvements for examination procedures and workflows
  • Provide high-level advice and support to academic and administrative stakeholders
  • Ensure operational excellence through staff supervision, system enhancements, and service deliver
  • Inter campus travel will be required as part of this position to the other La Trobe University campus from time to time

    • This role reports to the Graduate Research Operations Manager and plays a key role in upholding the University’s academic integrity and international research standing.

    About You

    We are looking for someone with :

  • Experience in student or research administration, preferably in a graduate research setting
  • Demonstrated team management experience, with strong leadership and performance management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • A strategic mindset, with capacity to interpret and apply policy in complex situations
  • Confidence working across digital systems and student databases (e.g., SIS)
