We are seeking a Network Engineer - Network Security & Architecture to provide strategic oversight, technical direction, and hands-on delivery of complex network solutions.As a Network Engineer specializing in Network Security and Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and advancing Woodside's network infrastructure.
Reporting to the Network Operations Lead, you will provide expert technical direction on network architecture, security strategy, and operational support for offshore and remote sites.Your responsibilities include developing and implementing network strategies, managing technical project delivery, and ensuring network health and resilience.
Collaboration with stakeholders to align network design with business objectives, providing technical leadership on security protocols, and conducting risk assessments are essential parts of your role.
You will also act as a subject matter expert in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-implementation reviews to ensure network security and reliability.RequirementsProven experience in network security architecture and system integration, especially in critical infrastructure projects within oil and gas, mining, or resources sectors.Expertise in routing, switching, wireless, security, and voice systems.Strong understanding of O&G safety-critical systems.Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.Stakeholder engagement capabilities.Relevant qualification in network engineering, systems architecture, or related discipline.Experience working in offshore or remote environments and willingness to travel.Industry Safety Induction (Safer Together) certification or recent O&G experience to meet site entry requirements.BenefitsThis is a full-time, 12-month contract position with potential extension over a 3-year project.
