Senior Accountant

Our client, a well-established mid-sized accounting firm ranked in the Top 100, is seeking a technically strong Senior Accountant to join their Business Services Team . The firm offers a broad range of services to a diverse client base and prides itself on professional excellence and a collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities :

Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts, including complex structures

Preparation of financial statements

Liaising with auditors as required

Communication with ASIC, ATO, and other stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have :

Minimum 5 years of local (Australian) experience within an accounting firm

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce

CA / CPA qualification (either completed or near completion)

Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship

Residence within close proximity to St Kilda
