Commercial Hygiene Technician (ANZSCO :

Electronic Instrument Trades Worker)

Full-time / Permanent

73,500 - $78,000 (higher salary will be considered commensurate to qualifications and experience)

Duties and Responsibilities :

Installing and maintaining automated hygiene instrument and control system applying knowledge of electronic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic principles

Installing anti-interference circuit breakers where motherboard is causing electrical faults with the electricity supply in the same room

Replacing motherboards where required

Replacing, setting up, calibrating and adjusting sensors

Removing faulty motor units out of the cabinet, and replacing with new motor units where the fault cannot be diagnosed or repaired effectively on-site

Ensuring proper operation of the system through regular maintenance and repair of equipment - examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults

Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments

Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment

Training users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions

Maintaining accurate records of system performance and activities.

Qualifications and Experience :

AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.

At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.

Applicants with qualifications will need to demonstrate at least one year of relevant experience.
