Trainee Cnc Operator

We are looking for a CNC Operator / Factory Hand to help in our busy manufacturing business. We manufacture a range of engineered signage, from metals, plastics and other materials.

You will be trained to run the CNC Router and laser, and use other factory equipment. You will be responsible for sheet inventory and the dispatch area.

Other responsibilities include assisting trades staff in their duties, cleaning and organising the workshop, and undertake a range of labouring duties as directed.

No experience is necessary, as full training is given. The role would suit a school leaver.

We expect you to have a good work ethic. Familiarity with general hand and power tools will be an advantage. Some computer skills would be handy to allow you to move into setting the CNC programs, and also for recording and reporting.

A manual licence is essential. A forklift licence would be highly regarded.

It is a full time position. We have some flexibility with hours. We are offering award rates, but will pay above award rates for additional skills.
