We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced leisure venue manager to lead the team in delivering an exceptional member experience at this vital community facility.
About the Club
PCYC Cessnock is one of the most unique and exciting PCYC NSW facilities, with over 2,800 members. The club boasts an indoor skate park, an indoor rock climbing wall, an adventure play area, indoor courts, a gym, and a 1100 sqm gymnastics room with the latest equipment, which attracts the most popular gymnastics competitions in the Hunter region.
About the Role
As a Club Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the venue, and you will be accountable for the administration, operational, financial, and program deliverables. You will inspire the team and lead the club to success.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the club, including staff leadership, training, program coordination, quality assurance, facilities / asset management and execution of marketing initiatives.
- Execute business and operational plans to generate income growth, build customer engagement to optimise use of the facility and increase revenue streams.
- Increase awareness of the PCYC mission within the local community, to grow memberships and generate fundraising / sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, including NSW Police staff, club committee, venue users, local businesses and the wider community.
- Administrative duties including rostering, forecasting, budget management, weekly and monthly reporting on club performance, funding / grant applications, database / records management.
- Provide a child‑safe environment.
- Conduct scheduled WHS and operational audits.
About You
