Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the investment operational, governance, and investment implementation processes of the Perpetual Private Investment Research Team.

- Portfolio management : perform daily portfolio management functions : monitoring cash flows, portfolio (asset class and manager) rebalancing, foreign currency management
- Represent the Investment Team for all matters relating to the Custodian (reporting issues, fund and manager set up
- Facilitate and work with external and internal teams to get required approvals from various committees and boards
- Liaise with various teams across the business, manage cross-functional processes and interactions to ensure that all required tasks and compliance requirements are completed to implement approved investment decisions
- Project manage the execution of agreements and documents pre-requisite to funding investments and amendments to agreements (as required)
- Project manage key operational initiatives on behalf of the team that may arise from time to time, ensuring the appropriate people are engaged within the team and across the business to complete the work.]
- Management of the key governance and risk processes within the team, including project management and resolution of risk issues, Internal Audit, controlled self-assessments, business continuity planning, various board reports and risk and compliance reporting requirements.
- Project manage the end-to-end process required for implementation and communication of investment changes (e.g., sector review changes, asset allocation changes), corporate actions and advice actions.
- Undertake process improvement across key investment operations and portfolio management processes, to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall team.
- Manage key suppliers and licensing on behalf of the team, such as investment research providers, data providers and other systems used by the team.
- Manage the investment input for ongoing product management tasks, such as PDS rolls and approvals, annual reports, liquidity and stressing testing.
- Facilitate the process for approval, promotion, bookbuild and custody of investment placements by project managing internal teams across the firm involved in the process.
- Manage the central calendar to make sure team annual leave, key events, board meetings and committee meetings are planned for with sufficient resourcing.
- Maintenance of the Investment Research intranet site, ensuring materials are accurate, timely and up to date with current investment offering.
To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include :
