- ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Support Worker, you will be one of the most influential people in your clients' life. Your role will be diverse and challenging and will involve direct care for clients in settings such as houses, schools, hospitals, community centres and emergency accommodation.
Your daily tasks can include :
- Building a relationship with the people you are caring for.
- Providing around the clock care to participants, following a structured routine developed specifically for their needs.
- Administering medication.
- Transporting the people in our care to and from school, day programs and appointments.
- Assist in the implementation of programs designed for the development of the client.
- Report writing.

- ABOUT YOU
- To be successful in the role you will need to meet the following Essential Criteria
- Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; Course Code HLTAID011)
- A current driver's licence (Minimum of P2)
- A vehicle that can transport upwards of 4 people
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Ability to work a 7-day shift work roster
- Willingness to participate in pre-employment medical checks
- Two professional references
- The following Qualifications are desirable for this role
- Diploma of Community Services
- Bachelor of Human Services
- Diploma level (or higher) qualification in a relevant field of study
