MDP2 Medical Practitioner - $105,751 to $171,579 p.a (includes award salary, superannuation and any other monetary benefits) Full time Term Contract (Initial 12-month contract within WCHN – total 3-year SA Health wide employment) As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-month allocation Advanced Trainee Paediatric Sleep Medicine will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities. About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Sleep Medicine team as a Advanced Trainee, where you will be responsible for : The provision of clinical respiratory medical services to in-patients and out-patients of the WCHN, under appropriate supervision. Contributing to Professional Development and Clinical Practice initiatives within the Department of Paediatric Respiratory Medicine and Cystic Fibrosis. Contributing to Research activities within the within the Department of Paediatric Sleep Medicine. Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical and allied professions education within the Department of Paediatric Sleep Medicine. About You To be successful in this role, you will have : Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent, Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration. Completion of RACP Basic Training Requirements and progressed to Advanced Training. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary clinical, scientific and paraclinical colleagues. Ability to meet specified turnaround times for consults and reports. High level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
