The Nurse Educator is responsible for planning and developing education and training programs to facilitate the development of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, ensuring safe, quality, person-centred patient care. The role involves collaborating with the Nursing Executive, Clinical Nurse Educators, and other clinical staff to review, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures related to evidence-based clinical practice.

Shellharbour Hospital provides emergency services, elective surgical services, general medicine, antenatal and primary family health care, satellite renal dialysis, and adolescent and adult mental health services.
