Job descriptionWhat we're looking for is a star player to come in at midday to assist the team with finishing for the day. You'll basically be jumping on whatever needs doing and then cleaning down the machines, dishes and performing a general tidy. Tasks will vary, they'll include Jumping onto a machine station if needed. Assembling packaging and packing products. Assisting with packing orders. Completing all of the dishes (baking trays, machine bits etc), cleaning down the machines and bakery trolleys. What's really important to us A minimum of two years working within a cleaning role or working within a food production environment. An enthusiastic, upbeat and hard working attitude (we take this REALLY seriously, our team are positive and friendly, anyone who's a glass half empty kind of person, grunts as their form of communication or doesn't like taking direction - please don't apply). You show initiative, if you walk past something on the floor you pick it up. If you notice something needs doing, you do it or bring it to our attention. Great communication, when given a direction you're responsive and positive. When asked a question you're not limited to one word answers. Reliable, you understand you'll be the key player in this role so if you don't rock up it will cause everyone to stay late. We always empathise and understand genuine sickness of course! - Monday to Friday, afternoon shift beginning at around 12pm.
- No weekends!
- 6 hour shift with potential for 8 hour shifts.
We're a wholesale dessert business based in West End, we produce plant based sweets in large qty's that we ship all over Australia. Our crew work from 7am to 3 : 30pm / 4 : 30pm.
