Your role

Reporting to the General Manager this newly created role offers the opportunity to make a real impact and support the growth and management of Peerless JALs sales operations. Based out of our main manufacturing site and head quarters in Preston VIC this key leadership role is designed to support our Sales Representatives with a focus on growing the business organically.

In this role you will have the opportunity to leverage your field sales and account management expertise and work closely with our key distributors and retailers to drive growth across the region. You will also be tasked with developing strategies and business development plans for our national and state accounts. To be successful in this role you will have a demonstrated track record and a strong attitudinal desire to achieve improved commercial value by delivering superior customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management and growth of our distribution network
  • Lead mentor and motivate a small outcome driven sales team
  • Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies
  • Key account management and business development of national and state accounts
  • Effectively lead and manage use of CRM system
  • Provide leadership and coaching through active work in the field with team

Skills & Experience

  • A minimum 10 years of proven success in field sales consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Previous experience developing and managing distributor channels preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Ability to work with a product that requires technical expertise
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Strong commercial and analytical capabilities
