The Opportunity The University of the Sunshine Coast invites applications for a casual Chef / Cook to join our dynamic catering team. You will Prepare and deliver high-quality meals, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation; Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards; Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage workflow during peak periods; Contribute to menu development with creative ideas; and Support the Head Chef and keep the kitchen clean and organized. You will possess Ability to work independently and provide guidance to staff; Capability to cater to dietary requirements; Experience in a high-volume kitchen; Understanding of food preparation techniques and safety protocols; Excellent teamwork and communication skills; Adaptability, reliability, and ability to work under pressure; and A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
