Each department is a mixed adult and paediatric department.Multiple rotations includingcritical care,anaesthetics,Emergency ultrasound special skills program,Hospital in the Home,Royal Victorian eye and earother tertiary external sites150,000+ ED attendances per yearLong standing Network commitment to emergency medicine trainingwith a dynamic program and hands on workshopsDedicated CME timeComprehensive Primary and Fellowship teachingboth Site based & Network>

50 FACEMs for training and education& a dedicated teaching teamACEM examiners at all sitesPaediatric logbook accreditationSupport for ACEM 4.10 researchQuality improvement and leadership training in accordance with ACEM trainingInvolvement in mortality and morbidity meetingsAssociateship supervisors at all sitesFinancial support for educational courses and examinationsActive sim programEmergency Ultrasound trainingA commitment to trainee wellness, mentorship and supportAdvanced Paediatric Life Support coursesAbout YouTo be successful in the role you will have : Recent experience in Emergency MedicineJunior Registrars (HMO3 +) will be consideredACEM Trainee desirableWell-developed interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to work as part of a diverse teamStrong commitment to high quality patient careCurrent registration with AHPRA or Eligibility for Provisional Registration with AHPRADescriptionPlease refer to the attached position description for further details of the role.
