    • About the opportunity

    We are looking for a drafter to join our large in-house Technical Design team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to develop, design and draft 3D framing construction plans utilising our in-house software to meet client specification and construction methods. More specifically, you will :

  • Undergo a structured 6-month training program to learn the systems, process and quality of work.
  • Produce high-quality drafting and related documentation using CAD software
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, such as engineering, construction and customer support
  • Independently manage drafting tasks to produce accurate and detailed designs, in an efficient and timely manner
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members, to further the enhance the team's performance
  • Identify and resolve design issues and challenges that arise during the design and construction process

    • With roles at our Edinburgh North or CBD office, you may be required to travel between the sites for training and development, team building, collaboration, and wider-business functions.

  • An understanding of drafting software e.g. AutoCAD and / or Revit
  • Experience in drafting, with an expertise in residential construction methods
  • A keen eye for detail and attention to accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work autonomously
  • Demonstrate an innovative approach to solving problems
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
