Permanent Full-Time Legal Assistant Opportunity Family Law in Perth CBD Legal Assistant - Full-time | Perth CBD Hays is currently working with a well-established and growing law firm in Perth's CBD, who are looking for their next Legal Assistant to join the team. This is a full-time, in-office role, offering a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative and professional environment.

Your New Role

As the Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's lawyers and office operations. You will be responsible for a range of administrative and legal support duties, ensuring the firm's processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

• Communicate with clients in person, over the phone, and via email
• Represent the organisation with professionalism and integrity when dealing with clients and court officials
• Draft, Proofread, and file or send legal documents
• Track Deadlines to ensure smooth business operations
• Perform Administrative duties, such as maintaining lawyers' calendars, scheduling appointments,etc
• Create and maintain case files, including producing and editing transcripts
• Screen, direct, and prioritise incoming calls and emails
• Perform legal and background research when requested
