Electrical Technician

Job descriptionCarry out preventative and corrective maintenance on solar farm infrastructure and equipment Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of systems and associated electrical components Support safe operational procedures including high voltage switching under supervision Work alongside contractors and internal teams to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld Participate in after-hours on-call support as part of a rotating roster Contribute to the accurate completion of work orders and maintenance documentation Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organised workshop environment Help monitor inventory levels for tools, spare parts, and consumables Trade qualification in electrical or equivalent technical training Previous experience in renewable energy, power generation, or electrical maintenance is highly desirable Strong understanding of safe work practices and a proactive approach to health and safety Willingness to work in a team environment and support continuous improvement Familiarity with maintenance systems (e.g., Maximo, Enablon) is an advantage HV Electrical Switching certificate or ability to obtain Working knowledge of installation, maintenance and instrumentation systems Be part of a growing renewable energy industry Work in a collaborative team environment with training and development opportunities Contribute to a meaningful cause—supporting Australia's transition to clean energy Enjoy a safety-first, inclusive, and values-driven workplace APPLY NOW PRINT JOB SPECS BROWSE ALL ROLES
