Here at Concentis, we are partnering with a company within the energy sector to source motivated and safety-focused Electrical Technicians. You will work under the guidance of the Lead Technician, contributing to the safe, efficient, and reliable operations of the site’s solar infrastructure, and have a real impact on clean energy delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on solar farm infrastructure and equipmentAssist in troubleshooting and repairs of systems and associated electrical componentsSupport safe operational procedures including high voltage switching under supervisionWork alongside contractors and internal teams to ensure safety and quality standards are upheldParticipate in after-hours on-call support as part of a rotating rosterContribute to the accurate completion of work orders and maintenance documentationMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organised workshop environmentHelp monitor inventory levels for tools, spare parts, and consumablesAbout You :
Trade qualification in electrical or equivalent technical trainingPrevious experience in renewable energy, power generation, or electrical maintenance is highly desirableStrong understanding of safe work practices and a proactive approach to health and safetyWillingness to work in a team environment and support continuous improvementFamiliarity with maintenance systems (e.g., Maximo, Enablon) is an advantageHV Electrical Switching certificate or ability to obtainWorking knowledge of installation, maintenance and instrumentation systemsBenefits :
