About The Role

As an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with clients, families / carers and stakeholders to enhance clients' social, economic and community participation and independence.

As an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with clients, families / carers and stakeholders to enhance clients' social, economic and community participation and independence.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Clinical Services, you will

Develop, implement, monitoring and review evidence informed behaviour support plans that are responsive to the person's needs and improves their quality of life Complete assessments (including data collection and analysis) of risk and behaviours of concern. Work within the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission requirements, the NDIA terms of business and any State Based Restrictive Practice Authorisation requirements. Actively participate in regular professional supervision Achieve billable targets

Skills And Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications, or working towards, in allied health professions or equivalent experience Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability assessment number, or employee commitment to applying for same within first week of commencement Experience in applying evidence-based frameworks and delivering clinical supports Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve An understanding of working within the NDIS billable hours environment Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the legislation underpinning the provision of clinical service delivery to people with a disability and under the NDIS and the Quality and Safeguarding Commission Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders Good computer skills – including the use of applications to source and analyse data

Essential

Current NSW Driver's License First Aid Certificate Working with Children Check NDIS Worker Screening Check Number
