Job description

An opportunity exists with a well-established boutique insurance broker which is part of a national broking firm. They are seeking an Insurance Officer to join their team working alongside highly experienced brokers.

This role would suit someone with experience as an Assistant Broker, Underwriting Administration or Claims Consultant / Administrator who is seeking a new opportunity with a growing organisation.

Your duties will include

  • Processing claims.
  • General policy and account administration.
  • Working closely with experienced brokers.
  • Assist in the processing of renewals, endorsements, and payments.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous general insurance broking, underwriting or claims.
  • Tier 1 or 2 qualification would be an advantageous but not essential.
  • Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to build rapport quickly while maintaining and initiating long lasting client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a team and is eager to learn from senior brokers.
  • Personable, proactive and client focused.
