    Our client is a long established commercial law firm that has flourished in the last 5 years and continues to grow. The firm has a broad and varied client base and their key areas of practice are : corporate / M&, real estate, tax, employment, estate planning, commercial disputes, commercial law, intellectual property, finance and financial services.

    Due to growth our client is looking to recruit a junior property / conveyancing lawyer.

    The Role

    In this role, you will be responsible for managing property transactions from start to finish, including residential, commercial, and off-the-plan projects.

    As part of this role you will;

    • manage end-to-end property transactions, overseeing contract reviews, property transfers, and settlement processes. Your role will involve conducting thorough title and property searches to identify issues and collaborating with relevant parties for resolution.
    • Draft and review legal documents like sale contracts.
    • Effectively communicate, as this is key in this role. You will engage with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, banks, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless transactions.
    • Stay updated on legislative changes to ensure adherence and compliance with NSW conveyancing laws.
    • Utilise conveyancing software, maintaining precise records, managing tasks, and meeting deadlines efficiently.
    • Guide clients through property settlements.
    • Be proficient in conveyancing software (e.g., PEXA) and general office software (e.g., MS Office).
    • Ideally have experience managing residential, commercial, and off-the-plan transactions.
