DescriptionJOB PURPOSETo carry out the safe disassembly, rebuild and repair of components and associated products in line with work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and QA standards.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operational Requirements
- Disassemble and rebuild components in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Provide all relevant strip down / build information in detail so the sales team can prepare an accurate quotation for the customer.
- Ensure all HEPI processes / procedures are followed.
- Manual handling.
- Undertake appropriate housekeeping duties to ensure the safe operation of the work area.
- Induction and Onboarding
- Complete all relevant work-site inductions prior to starting work.
- Undertake training as required.
- Provide training on equipment according to experience and qualification.
- Quality and Auditing
- Turn out work of a consistently high quality with mínimal rework.
- Contribute to company improvement in areas such as safety, quality, environmental, production methods, tooling, job functions etc.
- Reporting and Records
- Non-compliance report.
- Time recording and timesheets.
- Quality control documents.
- Record disassembly and assembly information as required or as detailed in scopes of work / job routes.
- Report all hazards, incidents and accidents to your supervisor immediately.

- Immediately bring any safety concern to your supervisor, or others designated by departmental procedures. If any employee believes that performing an assigned work task or activity may pose a serious risk to life or health or non-compliant, discuss the issue immediately and directly with your supervisor.
- Prior to operating any equipment supplied by HEPI, employees are to be adequately trained, equipped, monitored, evaluated, and guided as appropriate, to comply with established policies, standards, and procedures.
- COMPETENCIES
- Business and Technical Systems
- Computer literate with intermediate Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Academic and Trade Qualifications
- Mechanical Trade
- High Risk Work Licence - Forklift
- Four to eight years' experience in a similar role.
- Work Experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Solid grasp of numbers and high degree of accuracy.
- Exposure to Heavy Engineering / Mining Services / Construction Industry.
