It's an exciting time to join our Retirement Living business. In the next 12 months we will be going through a period of transformation and change, reaffirming the Retirement Living business as a key market stakeholder and allowing us to focus on works best for our business and the people we service.

This is where you as our People & Culture Advisor, will be able to have a tangible impact on our business and culture moving forward. We want you to help embed new systems and processes and provide customer focussed support to our engaged business stakeholders and P&C team. In addition, you will gain valuable experience supporting the implementation of our P&C programs which may include recruitment initiatives, performance or probation management, talent and succession or compensation review activities. Preparation of key reports and analytics will also be key.

  • To be successful in this role you would need;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a HR related discipline, combined with a demonstrable intermediate level of role knowledge
  • Exposure to some HR activity which may include learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, recruitment and performance management and / or knowledge of Employment Law
  • HR best practices, policies, systems and processes
  • Problem solving, technical and analytical skills to support the implementation of HR policies, procedures and programs.
  • Good interpersonal skills to provide information and to engage with and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in policy and / or award interpretation would also be advantageous

    Our current portfolio expands across 75+ villages and resorts with over 17,000 residents calling Lendlease Retirement Living home. This role includes finding the right people to support out many diverse teams such as village team members, development, property, sales as well as corporate functions such as finance, legal, EHS, ICT to name a few. We have a mix of roughly half salary and half wage paid employees.

    The business has a strong growth strategy looking to increase from 13,000 to 20,000 units in the next 5 years. We want your help making this plan a reality and strive towards the future of Retirement Living.

    Please note : The successful applicant must complete a Police Check, will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October as well as provide proof of the COVID-19 Vaccination with supporting documentation prior to joining. For selected roles more physical in nature, pre-employment medical assessments may also be required prior to any employment offers being made.
