We are looking for a team player and organized Team Leader ready to take the next step in their career.
The Team Leader is the primary contact for support staff, participants and involving stakeholders who are connected in the services in which the company provides. The role requires great customer service and a hands-on approach. Additionally, maintaining a positive and long-term relationship with internal and external relations and handling any concerns that may arise.
- Qualifications
- Understanding of the NDIS and Disability Industry
- Preferred however not required, experience in rostering
- Willing to work outside of standard office hours
- Driver's License with access to a car
- Intermediate in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong project management and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and guide individuals and teams
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment can accomplish tasks without direction.
- As the Team Leader, your role will include but not be limited to the following
- Assist and connect the participant with stakeholders;
- Develop relationships within the broader community to help ensure the best possible outcomes for people living with disabilities;
- Participate in the development and implementation of systems that ensure staff are able to deliver desired outcomes for participants, including systems to support planning, budgetary, resource management, risk management, and quality assurance functions, within your area of responsibility;
- Interpret participant data, including whole system analysis, to identify appropriate actions to meet the participant interests at a whole service or group level;
- Escalate issues or present effective solutions in relation to service delivery and participant care to relevant clinical and / or management bodies, when required;
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships;
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services;
- Provide continuous supervision, support, and mentoring to Support Staff;
- Manage Support Staff;
- Monitor Support Staff performances and relevant processes (e.g., signing in and out, progress notes)
- Ensure Support Staff have a platform to openly communicate and / or debrief with Team Leaders;
- If and when necessary, respond to calls and messages after business hours;
- Provide a degree of hands-on support such as covering on-call shifts when required.
