The Operations Managers, DFV Court Program (North and South), collaboratively lead the team of DFV Court Coordinators supporting the specialist DFV courts justice response.
The Operations Manager, DFV Court Program (North) also manages and supports the Courts and Tribunals (CAT) role in High Risk Teams (HRTs) and the specialist DFV approach in courts. They lead the strategic direction of specialist DFV courts across Queensland.
The Operations Manager, DFV Court Program (South) also manages projects for the delivery of Recommendations 50 and 74 of the Women's Safety Justice Taskforce.
Lead the DFV Court Program team, ensuring appropriate management of financial and human resources, performance management, and professional development of staff.Provide professional, operational advice to senior management on best practices related to DFV court justice response and improve business processes to maximize resource use and positive outcomes for court users, including implementing new services and delivery sites.Offer innovative leadership, guidance, and advice to team members through mentoring, coaching, training, and feedback.Develop and maintain effective relationships with DFV stakeholders, including judiciary, government, and non-government organizations, to ensure the success and expansion of the specialist DFV courts and related projects.Support procurement and contract management to achieve program outcomes.Manage data collection and analysis to monitor issues and trends in DFV, informing continuous improvement of the DFV specialist court approach.Prepare and review strategic and operational documents, including briefing papers, reports, submissions, and responses to consultations.Represent CAT in inter-departmental and inter-agency meetings focused on DFV and perform other duties as directed by the Director, Domestic and Family Violence Court Program.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
