Job description

The Head of Financial Reporting is accountable for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and integrity of statutory and management financial reporting across the group. This role is a key contributor to audit initiatives and supports the CFO in all finance undertakings, including special projects, process optimization, Board materials, and technical accounting matters for FinTech Industry.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accounting policies aligned with IFRS, MFRS, and internal standards.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial closing, reporting, and consolidation of group results.
Prepare detailed financial analysis and reports for the Board of Directors, shareholders, and key stakeholders.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and ERP system management.
Uphold corporate governance and transparency standards.
Lead process standardization and optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and control.
Act as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
Promote accounting competence within the finance team and internal stakeholders.
Apply a strategic mindset to identify and recommend improvements in finance and business processes.
Conduct compliance reviews to ensure adherence to accounting policies and guidelines.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Professional accounting qualification (MIA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent).

10+ years of progressive operational finance and audit experience, including group consolidation in an ERP environment.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to senior management and the Board.

Results-oriented with excellent project management and business judgment skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven.
