The Role The role will report to the Critical Care Nurse Educator and will be a part of the wider BPH education team. With the Nurse Educator Critical Care, you will support staff in both units in patient facing skill development, training and assessment and quality improvement aligning to evidence-based practice, through education.- This facilitator role is new to the Emergency and Critical Care units. This role is 0.5 FTE non-shift work role and includes some flexibility in hours to occasionally support program delivery. About You To be successful in this position, you will : Be an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 2 years recent critical care experience; Demonstrate a passion for clinical teaching and education Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to a diverse range of individuals Ability to work both autonomously and effectively within a multi-disciplinary team Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills Have completed or willingness to undertake : Preceptor program; Certificate IV (Workplace training and assessment); and Post graduate clinical and / or education qualification This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and highly skilled education team, grow your education capability and progress your professional career in making a difference to clinical outcomes and patient care.
