Under the supervision of the Supervising Radiologists and the Clinical Director, the Breast Imaging SA Trainee will undertake assessment breast imaging and interventional procedures and assessment; and undertake of a minimum of 2,000 screen reads within a 12-month period (pro rata).
The Breast Imaging SA Trainee will contribute to the provision of high standard radiology services to BSSA Clients, referred to the Department, participate in clinical meetings and multidisciplinary meetings, and participate in research relevant to population-based screening and breast imaging.

- Essential Requirements
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working With Children Check (DHS)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease : Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
- Educational / Vocational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Appropriate specialist qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with specialist registration
