Locum Hospital Occupational Therapist

Locum Occupational Therapist required for regional health service in Victoria. Join a team of 45 allied health professionals, including 13 Occupational Therapists. The position offers an early July start for 3 months ++.

The Occupational Therapy department comprises a Team Leader, Grade Two and Grade One Therapists in rotational positions. The department provides services to acute and rehabilitation inpatients, outpatients, community groups, lymphoedema, and hand therapy clients. It is supported by Allied Health Assistants who facilitate groups, support inpatient therapy, and home-based programs. The department values a multidisciplinary, integrated approach and collaborates closely with other health team members.

The primary focus of this Occupational Therapist role is to plan, deliver, and evaluate services to consumers.

The caseload focuses on inpatient acute cases in general medicine, palliative care, and post-surgery patients. Experience in acute and / or sub-acute settings is required. Potential to cover outpatient triage assessments. FREE accommodation available. Start early July for 3 months ++. Great feedback from other candidates!
