About The Role
Maurice Blackburn has a long history in Abuse Law, advocating for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This is a unique opportunity to build expertise in this developing area of law. If you're a driven Lawyer seeking a fast-paced, supportive environment, consider advancing your career with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients to take instructions and build relationships
- Review and interpret complex records critically
- Draft clear written communications for clients
- Prepare briefs and liaise with medical and health professionals
- Draft court documents with precision
- Attend hearings and represent the team in court
- Collaborate with barristers to prepare matters for hearing
The experience we are looking for
We seek a lawyer with strong client service focus, personable approach, and commitment to social justice. Ideally, you have 2-3 years PAE, but we welcome strong applicants eager to develop in this area. You will have :
