About the Centre

About the role

The centre are seeking a passionate Room Leader to lead a small team of educators within the Baby Room . Duties will include :

Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate programs and activities for babies in the room
Providing a safe and nurturing environment for babies to learn and explore
Supervising and monitoring babies in the room at all times.
Communicating regularly with parents and caregivers about their child’s progress and development
Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the room
Keeping the room clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Assessing and documenting babies’ progress and development
Providing guidance and support to other staff members in the room

You must

Currently residing in Australia and hold a valid VISA

Diploma in ECE (or an ACECQA equivalent)

Knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality standards

First aid / CPR / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification (or willingness to obtain)

Current Working with Children Check

Current child protection training

Two professional references
