General Warehouse Person

Role : Store Worker

Reports To : Warehouse Manager

The Store worker is responsible for warehouse compliance with company policies and procedures as well as receiving and distribution of goods, stock management and maintenance of the warehouse.

• Responsibilities
• Maintain warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision
• Receiving incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoice.
• Accurately pick stock, package and dispatch outgoing goods
• Maintain stock shelf organization, presentation and accurate stock reporting
• Compliance with operational policies and procedures
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standard of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Maintain stock control and stock take procedures
• Over the counter service to customers
• General housekeeping / cleaning of warehouse and facilities
• Assisting with deliveries where required
• Safe operation of forklift
• Any additional tasks as requested by Managing staff

A knowledge of Fasteners and consumables would be preferred, but not necessary.

Salary

45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule :

8 hour shift

Experience

Warehouse : 1 year (preferred)
