Our high-performance systems are trusted by packhouses and producers across the globe to deliver reliable, precise, and efficient sorting solutions for a wide range of produce. With a growing footprint in Australia, we are looking for a skilled After-Sales Service Technician to support our local clients through installation, maintenance, and hands-on technical and mechanical support.
This is a field-based role with significant travel requirements—up to 75% of your time could be spent on the road, supporting customers throughout Australia, and occasionally overseas. If you're a mechanically and technically minded professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working autonomously and directly with customers, this role offers an exciting opportunity in the growing ag-tech and automation sector.
Key Responsibilities Mechanical & technical installation and commissioning of new fruit sorting and grading systems at customer sites.Routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance on Reemoon equipment.Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues on-site.Training operators and customer maintenance staff on equipment use and care.Acting as a key technical contact and trusted advisor for customers.Regular reporting and feedback on equipment performance, customer needs, and service improvements.About You Preferably a degree or trade qualification or a minimum of 5 years hands on in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or a related field.Hands on experience in manufacturing, fabrication & safety standards.Understand complex technical drawings (CAD / 3D Layouts).Proficient in Microsoft applications.Hands-on experience in a service or commissioning role, preferably involving automation, packaging, or food production equipment.Ability to lead a team project manage installations.Ability to provide minor engineering modifications with various welding applications.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while on the road.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.Must be an Australian permanent resident.Valid Australian forklift license and unrestricted driver's license.Willing and able to travel regularly across Australia and occasionally overseas.Mandarin language skills are an advantage but not essential.What We Offer A diverse and rewarding role with access to industry-leading technology.Opportunities to travel and work with a wide range of customers and operations.Ongoing technical training and support from both local and international teams.Competitive salary package with travel expenses covered.Fully maintained company vehicle & tools.Long-term growth potential with a global company expanding across the region.Shepparton, Victoria, Australia 7 hours agoShepparton, Victoria, Australia 3 weeks ago
