Are you a highly motivated and compassionate individual looking for a rewarding career opportunity?Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Retirement Village Manager to join their team. As a Aged Care Facility Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional services and creating a vibrant community for our clients residents.

  • Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the retirement village, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage resident services, including health and wellness programs, recreational activities, and social events.
  • Maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for residents, promoting a sense of belonging and community engagement.
  • Supervise and lead a team of staff members, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the retirement village, including budgeting, billing, and expense control.
  • Collaborate with external service providers, such as healthcare professionals and maintenance contractors, to ensure quality services are delivered to residents.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident information, contracts, and facility maintenance.
  • Address resident concerns and complaints in a timely and empathetic manner, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, implementing improvements and innovative ideas to enhance the retirement village experience.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in a managerial role, preferably in a retirement community or senior living setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to retirement communities.
  • Compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine interest in supporting the well-being of older adults.
